Thread: Error in usage record, please help?

Hi friends,

I gave an application to change from 500NUL plan to 750UL plan in 21st June.On 24th data one portal showed that my plan change is provisioned ,so I started using the net from that day.But when I checked Yesterday in my account it shows a 6gb chargeable unit, ie they included my usage on 24,25 and 26 as chargeable units.Now please tell me how can I avoid the huge bill.

Since you are charged for UL usage, make a complaint to the accounts officer. Call customer care and ask for his no. Try to settle it before the bill comes. You can ask them to check the effective date.

If nothing works, write a complaint to Nodal officer or Appellate authority. Address and telephone no on the backside of your bill.

My Father went to BSNL office today and told them about this complaint. What they said makes no sense.They said to my Father that even if my account shows service provisioned on 24th, it is meant to be activated by 26th.How the hell we know that? All I did was applied for plan change on 21st and checked regularly on net for plan change.On 24th it showed service provisioned and service effective from 24th onwards and my speed did changed to 512 kbps on 24th between 6-7 am.

He also said,I have to pay the extra bill.

Please guide me, What do I do now?

A written complaint to Nodal officer or/and Appellate authority may work. Address and phone no on the backside of your bill. They are the highest officials we can access. Normally will be a bit humane in nature.

Ask why when plan "provisioned"on June 24th it is logged as chargeable usage.
All future contacts with your CC in writing or email to your circle CC.
Probably when the data for usage is sent to your Exchange/ A.O
for billing purposes , from main server, this usage may not be added.
