well speed's still not updated... i m still gettin the 512.. even at the portal it says UL 1350 download 512,, wen i called up bsnl... this guys arent even aware tht the speeds been upgraded...!!
this is really fucked up!!!!![]()
I think BSNL really needs to revise its Home UL plans. For instance, if you compare BB Home UL 750 and BB Home Combo ULF 900, nobody in his right mind would opt for the later. After all UL 750 provides 512 Kbps while ULF 900 gives 512 kbps only upto 8 GB and a mere 256 kbps after that![]()
Moreover, I think almost everyone (me included) would rather change their plans to UL 750 from ULF 1350 if they [BSNL] stick with their current plan of '2 Mbps upto 15 GB, 512 Kbps beyond 15 GB'. On the other hand, if they provide 1 mbps without any limit, not a few will sing praises for BSNL. Personally I'd stick with UL 1350 if they can provide 768 kbps (512+256) without limit![]()

Improper planning has lead to some obsolete plans. A restructuring will give birth to more profitable plans. I myself switch to ULF 1100. If only BSNL had announced the speed doubling in March, I would have saved the trouble of changing the plan again.
@essbebe
I cant send you PM
want to send you PM
Have you crossed the 15 GB limit ?
Yes, i crossed 15gb limit and i am still getting download speed around 180 kbps.. and i m in ulf 1350 plan..
Up to yesterdays status my usage was above 17gb.. I dont know how long this speed may stay.. i think tis may be due to the delay of the speed upgradation where i got only 512kbps speed for few days at the start of this month..

This speed change is yet another mess up by BSNL. Earlier it was only night unlimited. Don't they have engineers with a lit bit of brain.
My speed returns back to 512kbps from now onwards.. so sad...![]()
They actually have best brains to work for them. The exam for JTO is done by IIT on GATE/IES pattern. But than there are few babu's up the chain who actually sub contract the work to worthless private parties and let there guys(JTO's) rot in the field or face angry customer. So next time u see a 20-30 yrs old guy behind the counter, be patient and be sure he is doing his work but not getting any support from Central Govt Babus who even don't belong in BSNL.
