Thread: DSL stabilization issue.

I installed the modem last month, but I am facing this problem that dsl doesn't stabilize quite often, like for some time this may be unstable then goes stable for some random time period and then again unstable. I even replaced the modem but couldn't fix the problem. Sometime i try switching it on and off but of no use. The modem is much in a temporarily stable state. The phone is used only after the splitter. However there is a joint between the tower and the line to the splitter.
Any help is welcomed.

Ask them to change the port in exchange. Mostly it happens due to this reason.
Do you have voltage fluctuation at your place ?

Please mention modem/make/model/number or

It may help if Mod mode ADSL2+ is unchecked.
Copy /Paste data of ADSl ( usually under Statistics)
Mod mode selected.
SNR attn line rate rate ( rest not needed )
