Default Performance of BSNL WIFI Modem

Hi I am Using BB ULF 3300 plan with 512 Kbps with Normal Nokia Seimens Basic Modem.
Now I want to go for ADSL WIFI modem of BSNL. How is the performance of that. I want to share the connection for 10 computers with wires.

What is the performance differences of Wired and WIFI.

Please suggest some useful information I am frustrated with Equal sharing of Broadband for all the computers.

    Thanks in Advace

I am using AR 800 V v3.0. Quite happy with the performance. Didn't notice anything different from wired modem. Me too have Nokia Siemens C 2210.

Yes, it is a wifi modem. I never felt any difference when I changed to ARV 800 v3.0. But speed will be affected by signal strength. If you are far away from modem, you may not get good speeds. Same is the case with wifi routers available in the market.

A wifi modem can connect only Max 4 computers Lan1 to lan 4 with rj45 cable.
In wif mode any number of desktops/lap withWLAN card.tops
( without any physical connection from modem/router/wifi )
In case your computers do not have WLAN cards
better to buy a 8 way or 12 way HUB/or switch ( preferred)
    instead of a wifi router.
