my broadband static.

Attenuation (dB): 27.5* 17.4*
Output Power (dBm): 11.6* 0.0*
Attainable Rate (Kbps): 14296* 876*
Rate (Kbps): 2044* 507*


I have get only 190 kB/s speed only
What can i do for speed of my internet?

plz help me.

State which plan do u use

I have UT300R2U modem of UTSTARCOM.

and my internet connection home 500 combo.

Hey,mate I think you need to understand a minute detail.


The speed stated is in Mbps(Mega bits per second)
And the speed shown while downloading is in KBps(Kilo Bytes per second)

This is because transfer rates are measured in bits and memory is measured in Bytes.


1 Byte = 8 bits

The speed of combo 500 is up to 2 Mbps(Mega bits per second)
That according to above formula 2 Mbps = 250 KBps

So the speed you are getting is normal and you won't always get 250KBps.

For conversion. bits/bytes/ etc

one of my friend get 237 KB/s
and he have same plan of broadband.
so that why i ask u, what can i do yar?

A lt of things can affect the speed like line condition, distance from exchange, etc. I feel the speeeeeeeeed you are getting is good enough (I get avg speed of 170-190 kB)
