Thread: Plz help!!! Teracom Type 2 modem problem..

Hii i am new to this site.. n im hoping some hlp frm u guys.. I recently bought a Teracom Type 2 modem.. Well the internrt n all works properly but the main problem is with the wifi.. The wifi is on indicating green light.. And my laptop dectects the wireless connection but when i try to connect to it,,, there is a problem.. it says a problem occured evn in ma ipod touch.. So plz tell me wat shud i do?? Should i Configure my modem??? thnx..

To use wifi ie, more than one system

1. You need to be PPPoE mode. Mention your mode of connecting. Can you connect by just switching ON the modem ? Or need to use a dialler ?

2. Enable DHCP in the modem.

3. In TCP/IP properties set " Obtain IP address automatically "

1. Start > Run > cmd > ipconfig/all, post the screen shot.

i m having a prob in starting my w-lan in type -ii modem i got frm bsnl.
its teracom type-II B-gawv1.4 In starting day when i swith on my modem the wlan turns on automatically. but now after 7-8 day after swithching-on my modem i hav to again push the wlan switch(at the rear side of modem)each time i statrt my modem
I s a prob or some settings issue.....
pls someone help me out of this.....

also check white list. disable it.Enable dhcp and give a range say 192.168.1.3 to 192.168.1.10
Change over to "Always On"PPP/PPPoE mode
