Question selfcare, bsnl portal not working, only NETWORX, huge bill in 500c plan.

Hi friends, i'm using BB 500C plan.
I heard from 2 of my friend that they get huge bill in 500c plan around Rs.5000, Now i'm worried, I got this connection on 30/6/2010. Till now I've downloaded 16073MB in 35hour according to NETWORX,and I've downloaded all things during 2-8 am, and During peak time i just surf facebook and check my mail(usage is not more than 200mb).

But what if they bill me wrong next month..?? I cant check my usage online, as they have not given me bsnl portal id, they told me, I'll get after 1 month only. And when i tried to register on selfcare.sdc.bsnl.co.in, I'm getting this error message after submitting reg fill form: Broadband User ID is Invalid or You do not have Active Broadband in Your Service.

Guys, how can check my usage online?? Networx only helps me to show how much i've downloaded, but i don't TRUST bsnl. plz plz help me, whom should i contact? I contact 1500, then they said about SELFCARE help contact 1957, but nobody is picking call, its ringing only.!!

Do you restart your modem a little after 2.00 am and a little before 8.00 am ? Are you sure that the start and end time of your download fall between 2 -8 slot. If so nothing to worry. You can call the customer care and ask them to check the usage. They will tell you the current values.

If your downloads do not start and end in the 2-8 slot and you downloaded during this period, talk to the accounts officer and try to convince him. You should get the portal ID while you get a connection. Call them and ask your portal ID. They keep it in their records and won't take more than minute to retrieve.

If so, nothing to worry. Did you call the customer care and asked for your usage details ?

How can they act like this ? In my place, I used to check usage details through phone. Hope here they are more professional. Still all the same. If your downloads fall in 2 -8 slot, nothing to worry. If they charge you extra, we can get a refund also.

    Try this

Call Nodal officer or Appellate authority. You can find their no on the backside of your bill. Talk to them and seek help. Tell him, that you are still to get your portal ID.
