Thread: One way of connecting your ipod touch through your PC to the Wifi

1. Connect your PC with the LAN Cable and check if one can open a webpage.

2. Now we have to configure the PC for ad-hoc network.

Steps to configure ad-hoc network on Win 7:

1.Click on Start (Windows icon) and type wireless. Click on Manage wireless networks

2.Click on Add to add a network

3.Click on Create an ad hoc network.

4.Click on Next

5.Enter a name for your network and configure the security options (SELECT WEP). Click on Next when you are done


3.Now you can connect your Ipod touch or Iphone to wifi through your PC.

I tried your method...
Do we have to have a PC with wireless option. I think your option is easy with a laptop with wireless option.

DO you the method to connect the Ipod touch from a PC with Broadband connection but does not have the wireless feature.

Pls help me.. I am tryiing for this since I bought my Ipod..
