Unhappy BSNL:Doubt Regarding Change of Plan to UL 750+

As it happens, I gave a letter for the change of plan from BB Combo 600(previously Home 500 C+) to the UL 750+ on the 6th of this month. When I called customer care yesterday morning to check the change of plan, they told me my plan has been changed to UL750+ on the evening of 6th itself. And I also got a message from customer care last night that the change of plan has been provisioned. I double checked it with the customer care today who told me that the plan has indeed been changed to UL750+. The problem is however, the plan change is not refelected in data.bsnl.in portal and it's listing my plan as BB FN Combo 600 and I was even charged for my day time usage yesterday till 23.00 until which I was working on the net and before which I got the message that the change of plan has been provisioned. Will this affect my bill next month? Or shall I start downloading freely as the customer care representatives told me am on unlimited plan?

    1. Mention your location.

Go to data.bsnl.in, log in using Portal ID, under postpaid orders enter the telephone no in the prescribed format and hit " search order ". Post the screen shot after blackening the personal details.

Do not believe customer care. Believe what is given in portal. If it still shows BB Combo 600, that is your current plan. Another point is chargeable units excluding night unlimited If it not zero, you will be charged for your usage.

Call customer care and record the conversation. Give it as proof to accounts officer if required. He will adjust the bill.

I've done this already mate. I'll try to PM you the screenshot

The problem is the speeds dropped from the usual 230-20 kbps to 60-90 kbps yesterday morning itself. I got a message from selfcare that my plan has been changed. The customer care people are telling me that am on unlimited plan and also the old plan is deleted. Only problem is, my order for plan change is not even showing up in the portal though they say it has been provisioned

What is shown in portal is final. Use only if it shows provisioned with effective date.

I have seen similar cases here. Most of them mislead by the customer care and ended up with huge bills.

I'm going to be one among them. Because I've downloaded some 800 mb now since today morning(after 8) as it was urgent for me to have those updated files and softwares to proceed with my project work and I was under the impression that I'm on unlimited connection. Only today evening I got the doubt again and checked the portal

You cannot even talk to the accounts officer. Because when he checks the portal, your plan will be provisioned today or tomorrow. So he will think that you are bluffing. You can still try talking to him.
