About LinkBacksi tried installing it but at one stage it shows script error and keeps the process of verifying DSL on and on. i think its stops working .i had disabled antivirus ,firewall etc.

Mention your modem make/model/number..
Check whether listed in Motive web site.
Also the Firmware specified.

Don't try it. A few users got their set up corrupted.
Ok i have heard this complaint before so i'm avoiding it
and yes my modem is zte 831AII
