Default Question regarding my BSNL Plan Change

    Hi everyone,

I gave an application on 6th of this month for a plan change from BBG FN 500 to BB Home UL 750. Today the stats on my portal showed that the plan change has been provisioned.

And when I looked at the usage details it showed the chargeable units excluding night unlimited as 0.

Contacted customer care and they even conformed the plan change.

So my question is that, how will be the billing calculated. Is it from this month or from the 1st of next month, (as I gave the application on 6th of this month (July), or can I start unlimited downloads from now?

    Thanks.

It will start counting from the day its provisioned!don't worry about the bill it will be separated from your previous bill , And its shows zero because of some tech problem or because, yours is now an unlimited plan, but you will be charged for the usage till 6th for your BBG FN 500.
and bsnl portal site always has many problem even i experience such things.

If you want to clarify the matter go the bsnl head office in your area and meet the concerned authority .he will explain it and rectify

    @ thunderheats

Till 6 th, you will be charged according to BBG FN 500. And afterwards since you have unlimited plan, there will be no charges except rent.

You can use a maximum of 6/30 * 1.5 GB. If you have used more, you will be charged for extra MBs. You need not pay full 750 as rent. It is 750 * 24/30.

Billing cycle is from 1 st to 30 th of the month. Hope it is clear now. You can user a bandwidth monitor to check the usage. Shaplus or Networx will be fine.

Hi, Sangamam and Meetdilip, thank you very much for your support.

    @Meetdilip,

One more question bro..why you said I can use only 1.5gb when the plan (BBGFN 500) allows to use upto 2.5gb? Hope you meant "2.5 gb"

Thanks again for your valuable support.

Today I got the bill and they charged an additional Rs.750 as deposit, even though I have made a 500 deposit for my previous plan. So I went to the bsnl office and enquired about this. They told that the billing is done from Bangalore and they can't do anything, and if I need the money I have to cancel the connection and they will refund both Rs.500 and Rs.750.

BSNL is kicking their customers and I'm really unhappy with their service and the way they handle problems.

Ask the no. of accounts officer and talk to him. He can deduct the amount in next bill. The ones to whom you talked are just bluffing. Me too only UL 750. They got my Rs. 350 refunded when I switched my plan to UL 750 from ULF 1100.

If nothing works, complain to Nodal officer or Appellate authority. ID and phone no. on the backside of your bill.

    1.
I have made a 500 deposit for my previous plan.]
Do you use the modem on rent? Or outright purchase ?
    2.
1/5 of 2.5 GB .5 GB 512MB will be free allowance for 6 days.
Rest data usage you have to pay!
    3. Check below for tariffs security deposit etc.

    1. I bought the modem from bsnl.

    2. Its not about the usage, but the deposits they are billing. Why should I have to pay another Rs.750 when I have already paid Rs.500 as deposit on my previous plan? They are simply charging an additional 500 and now saying they can't do anything about it.
