Thread: How to connect two laptops to internet ?

I am unable to connect my acer and dell to internet wifi at same time. I have to disconnect one.

1. Try this

2. Post your modem - model and make

3. Enable DHCP in the modem. In the TCP/IP properties of your connection, set " Obtain IP addresses automatically ".

4. Start > Run > cmd > ipconfig/all, post the screen shot for both machine while the modem is ON.

ping 192.168.1.1 does not help

Are you able to log in to the router ? Post the ipconfig/all details and other requested data.

Presume ACER ( laptop) is in wifi mode.

Procedure for Item 4 above :

START RUn type cmd
Ok
New window
type
ipconfig /all

Copy/Paste data here for both laptops ( No edit )
ONLY WLAN and PPP data required ( No tunnels!if OS is windows 7 etc ))
