Default DNA-A211-i moderm is restarting frequently

    Hi,

I have a BSNL broadband connection and I am using DNA-A211-I modem by ITI (Semiindia). I have been using the modem since the last eight to nine months and had no issues until the last week when my modem began giving me trouble. My modem works fine for sometime, but after a few hours, it starts restarting, i.e., the power LED, INET LED, DSL LED, WLAN LED, and Ethernet LED all go out for a few seconds and then they come on again. This disconnects my internet and I have to wait a few minutes before I can start browsing again. I have to be online for at least 8 to 10 hours as part of my job and I am finding it a bit irritating to get disconnected so frequently. Can anyone help me in this regard.

    1. Check your splitter. If faulty make a replacement.

    2. Post your SNR and attenuation values.

    Hi

Thanks again. I borrowed a Telenet TNDLS 2120 modem from a friend and hooked it up to my connection. It is now working fine without any glitches. I think the problem, as you said, lies with the adapter. I will check the power connections and get back to you.
