Thread: Confused about my bill? please check

This is my bill


The bill is of june.but i called 1500 and requested for automatic bill enquiry it said "your outstanding amount as on 14 th july 2010 is 1195 rs and even in my portal it was displayed as 1195. where did this amount come from???
and i downloaded the bill of june (which is displayed above)where it show somthing like 661rs

Talk to the accounts officer. He can clear you doubts. Call customer care and ask for his number.

Try to listen to the recorded message once more. It clearly states that it is the unbilled usage and it does not include fixed monthly charges and discounts.

If you still didn't understand what I mean, BSNL just calculates the unbilled amount by multiplying the usage with the cost (50 paise per MB for my plan - Home combo 600). It does not deduct the discount (which is the free limit multiplied by the rate per MB. for Eg 2560 X 0.50 = 1280 rupees) or add the fixed monthly charges (Rs. 600 plus taxes for my plan).

So unless you can calculate this yourself, it is not advisable to listen to the huge unbilled amounts. Just monitor your usage and you should be fine
