Thread: Modem is not powering up

Hi ,
I have BSNL bb connection with DNA-A211-I modem. The modem is not powering up. All the lights are going on and off in a loop. A small red light on the power adapter is also going on and off, if the power adapter is connected to modem. Please suggest if the issue is with modem or adapter?

1. Check your splitter. If faulty, replace it.

2. Check you modem's adapter. That can be a reason.

3. May be modem is faulty. Try your friends' modem at your place and check.

I have the same problem - right after a power outage, the modem simply doesn't connect : it goes it a loop of 2-3 lights blinking and restarting continuously for hours together (was like this for the whole day yesterday)

I think power fluctuations damaged my modem or something.

I have connected my modem through UPS. So no worry of voltage fluctuations and power failure. Try it. Much better than direct connection.
