    I got a message from BSNL cellone, For new users BSNL offering free unlimited download for first 15 days. It is for all new users who apply for connection before 31 july.

    Thanks. Any links to source ? The offer was there before. Not sure they have extended it or not.

    Its works for me. I am in Tamilnadu circle. However Our BSNL officials has no idea on this.

    am also in tamilnadu circle, but in my unbilled broadband usage is increasing everyday.

    i called CCE so many times but everybody is confusing me, one time they told me that 15 days offer is active and another time is not active. in my account "Chargeable Units(MB) Excluding Night Unlimited" is showing 16007 MB. i asked local callcentre, they replied that the amount will be debited in the upcoming bill no overcharging is there, so now whom i have to trust. plz reply asap.

    same here. No details when your Broadband connection was activated ?
    What is your tariff Plan?
    Are you sure The 15 days Free download is allowed in Tamilnadu circle ?

    If your chargeable units is not zero, you are not in 15 days unlimited plan.

    i asked callcentre 1504 about 15 days offer is active in my account, they replied yes it's activated. but then i don't know how it's possible?

    my plan - rural usof 150 - 1 gb limit.(this plan is eligible for this offer)
    the connection was booked on 29th july 2010.
    but the modem and internet was activated on 12th august 2010
    (because of line man, that fellow is too lazy to arrange for a connection).
    after activation first i confirmed by calling 1500 callcentre, the rep. told me that ur 15 day offer is activated from 12-08-2010 to 27-08-2010 11:20am. till now i am confused. i lodged complaint about this issue, but, till now no response.

    Call centre employees are mostly ignorant. Make sure that you do not end up with huge bill. Last month, there were some members with the same problem. All of them were getting zero is chargeable units.

    till now am not satisfied with the callcentre guys. so now what can i do. plz give me a solution, how to solve this issue.

    this month end the bill is going to be generated, so before that i have to find a solution to do not end up with huge bill. i called to the exchange peoples who booked the connection, they don't know about this offer. they asked me where u saw this offer?. and again called to the accounts officer, she replied me, that this is automatic billing system so after the bill came to ur home, if any modifications want to be done in the bill, can be modified if it's possible.
    so plz give me a solution asap.

    As of now there is no such link confirming this scheme on BSNL site. It was there earlier. Those members I mention were getting " chargeable units " as zero. So they were wondering what happened. They never came back to report what happened. It seems you have to sacrifice this scheme.

    Try complaining to Nodal officer or Appellate authority. Address and phone no on the backside of your bill.

    i already wrote one complaint abt this problem to our SSA nodal PG officer, i've to wait and see what they are going to do. if any, i will share my experience here.

    Well mate i'm also in same confusion.When i applied for new connection on 31st july i saw the notice in the office that those who apply on or before 31st july will get free installation and 15 days unlimited usages.I wanted to go for that promotional offer and that's why the lady made the order for the new land phone and broadband connection at a time.And it's also clearly mentioned that "free installation " in the registration cum customer copy.So it's clear they will adjust 500 from bill.At least i have some printed prof.

    My broadband connection was also activated on 12th august.And i tried to confirm that matter too.I don't know what is the designation of those persons but they confirm me that i belong to that offer.I confirmed this 5 times for my satisfaction.Even i told them to take time and get confirmation from their higher authority first and then let me know.And one person called me next day and told me i belong to that offer.

    But when i saw a huge usages in my portal i just shocked.Then i called them again and they said the bill will be generated after deducting the usages of first 15 days.And if wrong bill generated then i have to go to office and they will adjust it.Still i'm not fully satisfied with their promise.Lets see what happens.Get your finger cross dude.lol

    hi all

    finally i got the bill, with all deductions. more than Rs.9k deducted from my bill ,i.e., excluding the "15days free unlimited usage". but they have added the installation charges Rs.250 as "One Time Charge", that should not be added according to my plan that was clearly mentioned in my account. let me have to inform this to my exchange ppl. anyhow now am happy.

    I got a huge bill but after visiting two days in the BSNL office i managed to generate a duplicate bill with all the deduction of my first 15 days usage.

    But i think they alos forget to deduct the installation charge of broadband.
    They charged me 500 for installation.
    I think it is 250(for landline) + 250 (for broadband) installation charge.
    Then i must get 250 more deduction from my bill?
