    Default Billing problem

    I use the
    selfcare.wdc.bsnl.co.in
portal to check broadband usage. This is what the summarized info shows:

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

But the excel sheet that I downloaded shows that the sum of the column
"TotalVolInMbExcludingNightUnlimited" equals to a total of 2117 MB.

When I downloaded the excel sheet for NU. the total then adds upto 5551 MB.
So all I want is that they prepare the final bill with charging me for the current usage. How do I bring this mistake of theirs to their notice.

Call the customer care and ask for Accounts Officer's no. . Talk to him and seek help. Please mention your BSNL plan.

I went to the office and an I.T person there advised me to wait until the bill gets printed and if there is still an error we can correct. He says they have no control over what is shown on the website.
Also the portal is pathetic. Sometimes it says wrong pass and sometimes after logging in. I am alerted "No services availed".

Check "usage" link below and see whether you can get a sms alert.

In selfcare pages the entries may include previous month data also. confirm/recheck.

the billing problem is about previous month r which u hav already recieved the bill right.
now u take te bill i mean usage print out from bsnl portal

and there u can see diff in bill showing ur usage which acttually u dint used
and the portal bill showing ur exact usage used by u....
u can show the account officer both bills.and ask him to correct.......by giving him a letter....of complaint

he will surely resolve it in few hours to few days.....

i did in the same way.......

thanks for the reply harry. Actually I am talking about the current month's bill for which the bill is yet to be printed. The problem with the new portal is that they show usage of the current month only unlike data.bsnl.in which showed last 6 months usage. So after the end of july I wont be able to access the usage details. What do I do in this case? As it is the portal will be inaccessible a day before the 31st july and several days of the start of august. Seems the best option is to take the excel sheet of the most recent days usage.
