Thread: How to connect desktop, laptop and Nokia E71

I am having BSNL DNA-A211-I, ADSL2+ MODEM/ROUTER. Recently I configured my modem using the help of this forum. I have designated IP address of my ethernet card of desktop as 192.168.1.2 while that of Wireless port as 192.168.1.3.
The main problem that I am facing is that the Laptop and the Nokia E71 does not surf internet at the same time (Thru WIFI).
Pl help me.

What is the error you are getting?

In Nokia it says no gateway reply, while that in Laptop it says that the browser cannot display the page. Although when I ping my laptop with 192.168.1.1 it pings. But still cannot connect.

Enable DHCP in your modem. In the TCP/IP properties of your connection, select " Obtain IP address automatically ".
