    Did you tried to use both LAN and wifi at the same time ?

    In the TCP/IP properties of your connection set obtain IP addresses automatically and check.

    no, i am using only LAN... till now, i haven't used my wifi... but my wifi grren led is blinking in between....

    if i keep the TCP/IP properties for IP address automatically...
    it is searching for the address and showing "Limited or No connectivity"

    In both case, you are able to access net ? or using back up connection ?
    Configure static IP for both system and check. Say 192.168.1.10 and 192.168.1.25.

    @ksr1989
    Please mention the modem model/make number .
    Also see, whether it is listed in links given below.
    2. copy/paste the following data ( No edit )
    for both LAN and WLAN network.
    Start run type cmd Ok
    new window
    typeipconfig /all
    3.
    Most home users have Dynamic IP only.
    Presume you mean static Ip as 192.168.1.X ( X between 2 to 254 )
