Default Need reboot script of SmartAX MT841

    Hi guys,
I need reboot script for SmartAX MT841, I have already tried telnet script, jdownloader's reboot script, viponline's script and imran's broadband helper as well.

But none of them is working. I have tried to update the modem's firmware as well. But no result.

Please give me reboot script a tested one.

    1. Which mode are you in ? PPPoE or Bridge ?

    2. What is your purpose ? Using night unlimited ?

    Try this scheduler

    Auto-connect Download scheduler PC-Gyaan

If you are in Bridge mode, try this. Very simple

Ans1: I am not sure, how can I know. But I guess I am in PPPoE mode.

Ans2: Yeap you guessed it right I wish to make use of night unlimited hrs.

I don't think the application you have given will solve my purpose. I want an script so that I can use that script with jdownloader. I hope you would understand.

PPPoE mode - ID and password stored in the modem. Simply switch ON the modem to connect to internet.

Bridge - ID and password need to be entered in a dialer. You need to click " connect " button in the dialer to connect to the internet.

I suggest you can use Bridge mode. Script the NU configuration link given in the previous post.

    1. Type 192.168.1.1 in your browser.

    2. ID and password is admin.

Without getting LAN connection how your WIFI can work ?
    set up a lan connection
    Start All programs/accessories connections
    Network connection wizard.
Are you using the WIFI adapter supplied for MT 841 or any other?

Are you trying this modem for a friend ?
In your Dynamic IP I was getting a different modem page indiabroadband.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=7521&stc=1&d=127964021 9

Hey brother I am a newbie not a layman.

I have some knowledge about networking. I have a laptop and I use net at my home via wifi and use the same laptop at work place where I am connected via proxy. I have to give a specific IP to my lappy so that I can connect to net at my work place.

Yes my net is working fine via LAN and this is the screenshot that I have disabled my wifi adaptor

In the screen shot, select the entry with 0_35. Click " Edit ". Browse through the pages. You will find an option to select between Bridge and PPPoE. Try it.

Ok, what I did............. I have deleted that entry and then made a new entry in which I have selected bridge connection but my net was not working so I had to change to PPPoE mode.

After changing to bridge connection how should I connect to net?

Control panel > network connections > create a new connection > Connect to internet > Set up my connection manually > Connect using a broadband connection which requires a user name and password.

Once the dialer is created, use the " connect " button in the dialer to connect.

    Hope it is clear now.
