no dude.. the wpa psk.. mixed is wot i was using when it happened. btw ive noticed a strange thing. The router retains the password that i gave to it for wifi in wpa psk mixed. although all other passwords were reset, the name of wifi was reset and the access point was open . but it still retained the password ????
I m thinking that maybe if someone with a properly working router could upload a copy of his firmware, if thats possible. then .. i might upgrade/ overwrite mine//
hi , my prroblem is still not resolved. Please tell me if anyone has been able to resolve this. Otherwise im considering to return this modem to bsnl. Would that b possible? Wots the procedure.? P.S.. It has been more then 2years since i had bought it from them.

Post as annexure(jpg) your wifi settings pages.
See link wa 3002-G4 below.( for screen shots No 1. chennai website )
Hi dont worry abt wifi config about wa3002g4
go to wireless setup
go to security
select network authentication to "open"
select WEP Encryption ENABLE
select key 1
enter your key to first column....
save apply
it worked..... juz set the network auhtentication in wireless security to open... click save.... then put the settings back to mixed WPA2/WPA-PSK..... this way the wifi will work n u dont hav to subject ur connection to unnecessary risks too.... i.e... u can retain ur wireless password...![]()
