    Thumbs down Error 500 website temporarily unavailable !!!!

    I don't know what happened to my previous post so I'm posting again. I'm a user of BSNL Home 500 plan for last 3 years but experiencing this problem recently ... Most of the websites I open end in an ERROR 500 WEBSITE UNAVAILABLE message. As it is happenning with many websites I think it to be a BSNL problem.

    If anyone came accross this problem please HELP !!!

    1. Use these DNS values. 208.67.222.222 and 8.8.8.8.

    2. Clear browser cache and try.

    3. Try Opera Turbo and check.

    4. Try a proxy and report the result.

    5. Tried another browser ? If not try.

    @brodbnd
    The problem you are facing this is from BSNL side, user with IP 59 get this issue. There is some bandwith issue in BSNL side and to reduce the high bandwitdh this is need to do.
    The above issue in Kolkata, I dont know about others state of India.

    You can use proxy to browse those pages which comes with an error of 500.

    I'm using bridged connection. so where will I add these DNS values , is it in the IPV4 settings of network adapter or IPV4 settings of the pppoe connection I made ?

    Don't know how to use a proxy server, please help ?

    I've been facing a lot of problems with my internet (congestion, high latencies, packet loss, websites not opening) over the last month or so.
    I'm on a 59 series IP from kolkata.

    Changing dns servers isn't helping at all (other than an irrelevant 5-6ms latency change).
    Proxy/tunnel services are working but at a lot of times all traffic leaving India is extremely laggy and congested.

    Is there any official/unofficial confirmation of this problem ?
