Thread: Good News -- Rs 299 unlimited with 512kp

Hi,
Very soon Good news going to come.....

After 3G launch in India..... Internet speed will become very high and price will be low.

For Rs 299 you may get 512kbs fast with unlimited (same speed throughout the month) .....

For Rs 800 you may get 4mbs fast with unlimited (same speed 4mbs throughout the month) .....


For Rs 1500 you may get 8mbs fast with unlimited (same speed 8mbs throughout the month) .....

Wait for 1-2 months...............

I got the above news from one of my friend who is working in BSNL.
But he is not that much sure...

Anyone check......

Is this Plans for Broadband or for 3G..

AND if its for 3G also they wont bring it to this price, as the Ratio of Broadband will come down and 3G will rise up..

I think your friend has given false news to you..

i think he is talking about broadband speed , but i dont see it coming , they took years to move from 256 -> 512kbps

My friend, when dealing with BSNL, this "may" may come by 2050 and our grand children "may" enjoy the above mentioned plans when the rest of the world will be on 8Gbps plans.

As far as 3G goes, although peak data speed can be "upto" 7.2Mbps, theorotically its between 300-800Kbps on 3.6Mbps 3G Network and 700-1500Kbps on 7.2Mbps 3G Network. And BSNL's Unlimited 3G plan is only for Rs.2499/-

As far as competition from private ISPs is concerned, I am dissapointed as ALL the Wireless ISPs have set 15GB limit at the max as unFair Usage Policy on Unlimited plans. I dont see competiton here becuse most of Indians dont care about internet!! Orkutting and Facebook are mostly used which hardly require any data !

Competition is hot in Voice Calls segment because we like to chit chat a lot!!
But there is hardly any competion of tariff war in Data segment, in fact BSNL just copies ideas from Airtel Broadband . When Airtel first introduced FUPs, BSNL followed the idea. Airtel dropped FUP allowance and BSNL introduced plans giving as low as 8GB as UNLIMITED !!

Not being negative but i dont see any chance of Above mentioned plans to be introduced until majority of Indians start using more data !

Ask your "BSNL Friend" to read the date on implementation of your mentioned plans on the memo or internal bulletins if they have . It wont be earlier than 2050

I dont beleive this.

Let you dream everyday and be happy. Hope the 3G auction and how much the companies paid. How can we expect this to happen in our country in our times.

at present the bsnl 3g has no unlimited plan.

MTNL 3G unlimited data 30 days - 1800

FUP 10 GB

what the fck do they mean by unlimited if there is FUP of 10GB. seriously, there needs to be a law not to advertise such crap plans as unlimited

Only till 8 GB. After that, back to 256 Kbps.

Staff in bsnl offices needs to be modernised.
