Thread: BSNL Wired Broadband in Pune

Hello:

Can anybody tell me how much it costs for obtaining BSNL broadband with at least 2 Mbps speed in Pune?

I don't have a landline connection so need to take that also. Please give me an estimate of initial cost including activation charges, modem charges (rental/purchase), landline connection charges, one month rent and other charges.

I want to use landline connection just for accessing internet so can I opt not to get a landline phone (instrument)?

I am staying near Rajaram Bridge (Karve Nagar side not Sinhgad road side), if anybody know of any connectivity issues in this area please let me know.

Go for TATA rather than BSNL
I think TATA gives a very good service in PUNE , 2mbps speed , 9pm-9am - it is free unlimited usage , and rest of the day it is 10Rs/hour , or something per minute , not sure about that..

Thanks buddy for this info. I would have gone for TATA if my usage was not heavy. I use net around 16 to 18 hrs daily so need an unlimited plan.

Choose UL 750. Gives around 65 KBps. No FUP, unlimited at Rs. 750 per month.
