Default UL900 : sluggish!!

Hello friends. I have switched (most unfortunately) from 250Home to UL900Home! This has made me mad
I am a mathematician. My purpose of using internet is three fold:
1) Learning mathematics
2) downloading Math books
3) Downloading Linux distros

[I'm presently getting 30kbytes/sec (240kbits/sec) d/l speed.]

For the first one, if you drop 2 for a while, there is no problem!
But as soon as you move to 2, you'll surely find it troublesome to handle it with a crappy internet connection like mine!!
For 3) I am scratching my head day in and day out to get nothing but a big lesson of endurance and patience!

I stress upon moral honesty, not upon whether what I am doing is conventionally legal or illegal. I don't trust the stupid convention!

Then friends, do you have any idea to increase the broadband speed anyway? I want morally honest procedure, be it how much illegal I don't care!

Cheers

First, all connections on UL base is not more than 256kbps. Secondly, try to figure out what is your usage. Go for Home 1000 you get 5GB free with 2am-8am absolutely free. As your interest is in to mathemetics you can easliy calculate your usage in the night time to make it sure you are not crossing your limit of 5GB.

Hmm if I go to use the night and drop my sleep off then I am sure I will end up with a 9GB d/l per month from 500 plan, no need for 1000plan.
However, has any other friend anything else to advise?
Thanks, anyway
