Thread: BSNL dial tone not working

My internet connection is working fine but when i dial from my landline no tone is coming and outgoing is not working. and incoming is working fine.
Please tell me what to do.

Do i need to contact bsnl for this?

You need to contact BSNL. There is nothing we can do. Checking the splitter may help. Just connect the line directly to the phone and check. Internet may work even there is no dial tone in the phone.

you must go to the BSNL office and tell you problem, maybe its because of rainfalls..

Have you paid the telephone bill by due date /

I have similar problem with bsnl landline.
Internet works fine.
Phone is dead ; no dial tone ; we can not make or receive calls.
When an outsider dials our number, the outsider hears ringing tone but in the house it does not ring.

We have given complaint alredy ; no problem with bills (it is okay).

What could be the technical issue here, since there is connectivity till exchange (since internet works) ; but voice does not work.

Problem In Exchange side. Call Cc from some other phone.

Same solution. There is nothing we can do.
