Thread: Frequent Disconnect in 2 mints

Hi,

I had applied for new broadband connection with wifi modem. I got nokia-siemens modem and yesterday only got my userid and password. I was all excited to start my net experience on bsnl.

But when i connected to internet, to my horror, it was getting disconnected every 2-3 mints. I had to reconnect 25-30 times in 1 hour of surfing. WTF!!!!. I call customer care and a automated voice tells me to leave my number. I never got a call from them. Everything seems to be fine regarding wires and connections. Is this common in bsnl ?

I cant d/l even 5MB song like this.

Previously i had reliance netconnect+ Rs 849 plan. It was costly though but never got dc.

Kindly help. Please tell me if any more info is required.

1. Post your SNR and attenuation values. Log in to the modem. You will find it there.

2. Check the splitter. Are you sure it is connected properly ? Connect directly to the modem and check.

3. Make sure all connections come after splitter.
