Thread: Tariff of Broadband Internet service on FTTH

I was just checking BSNL website and landed here.
It says,

A. For All Broadband Plans

i)All Broadband plans with fixed monthly charges of Rs.500 and above,except the Combo Plans,are allowed to be offered on FTTH network.

ii)In addition 10% of the Fixed Monthly Charges shall also be payable by the customer for availing the Broadband service on FTTH.

B. Exclusive Broadband Plans for FTTH are 1mbps unlimited for 2999, 2mbps unlimited for 3999, etc.

So, what does that A point means ?

FTTH means, Fibre line broadband connection ?
BSNL will join underground dedicated fibre line to each broadband house from the exchange ? :O

Is it available all areas ???

available only in makor cities that too in certain areas of tower residency (township residencies)

currently its available in all Metro cities and soon it will spread to all areas bt the tariff is too high now and whatever u hv heard its correct .... if u apply for FTTH , Fibre Optic cable will come direct to ur house
