    1. Type your external IP in the address bar and check.

    2. Set the values according to this thread

    http://www.indiabroadband.net/broadb...nectivity.html (How to repair - Limited or No connectivity)

    Don't get confused by the name.

    3. Reset the modem using the reset button. It will be a small hole in the bottom or rear side of the modem. Power ON the modem and press the hole with a refill. Now you will able to access the modem. You now need to configure it again. Use this guide for PPPoE mode.

    Teracom Type-II ADSL MODEM MULTIUSER CONFIGURATION

    4. Start > Run > cmd >ipconfig/all, post the screen shot.

    Perhaps you may find the link Terracom, given below useful.
    In computer
    START run type cmd Ok
    New window
    type ipconfig /all
    you will get
    192.168.1. X(x any number 2 to 254)
    255.255.255.0
    192.168.1. X( any number usually 1 for modem )
    see also:
    http://www.indiabroadband.net/broadb...no-access.html (192.168.1.1 No access !)

    I did ipconfig/all but i couln't get data like 192.168, subnet mask etc. I guess if Windows7 laptop would have been connected to modem then only i could have got these things....these are the things that i can see :-

    Primary DNS Suffix=
    mode= hybrid
    ip routing enabled = no
    wins proxy enabled = no
    wireless lan adapter = wireless network 2

    physical address = 00-26-06-51-98-e2
    dhcp=yes
    autoconfig=yes
    connection specific dns=

    1. Tried external IP in address bar ?

    2. If nothing works, reset your modem. Download the guide mentioned in post no, 2. It will help you reconfigure your modem. Please note, after reset, you need to reconfigure your modem to connect to internet.

    3. Did you tried the " limited or no .... " guide. Try it.

    Reset it and try. If modem is faulty, you can get a replacement with BSNL itself.

    Default windows 7 network config

    log in as admin,
    i am only vaguely familiar with win7, so will give general instructions. these instructions may be related to the classic view of the control panel.
    open control panel, and locate network connections,
    go to the view which lists all network connections (like "Network Connections") in windows XP.

    rt click on the wireless connection and go to properties
    there will be, on the first tab itself, a check box for TCP/IP v6.0.
    uncheck that.
    keep the check box checked for TCP/IP v4.0,

    disable the networks that u do not use.

    in the command prompt shell, type in the following command: -
    netsh int ip reset reset.txt

    restart computer while leaving the modem / router turned on.

    should work for u.
