    Thanks for the update.

These plans are certainly not for home users. Good for those who can shed Rs. 1000 + per month for internet. I am quite happy to UL 750. No need to change.

why dont you check out your broadband speed... UL1350 plan users would not be downgraded and the speed should be made 2mbps... if you were on UL1350 then in all probability you should be still on that plan .. check your speed ... if your speed is 1.5 mbps + and your line if fine and you have not exceeded 15GB you should be still on 1350 plan. I dont think BSNL will ever downgrade a plan as that will be a business loss.

Only a brainless indian babu is capable of dishing out these plans.Starting with these speeds the free usage is going to be taken in only a couple of days & then for the whole month you have to contened with 256 Kbps.Better to take BB Home Combo UL 750 & get 512 Kbps uninterrupted for the whole month..:Unlimited Home Only:.

2 Mbps, 4 Mbps my foot! Please excuse the language. But these inefficients at BSNL either do not know how to maintain their line so that the subscriber gets the speed promised, or they care two hoots for any speed-related problem a subscriber faces. I took a 1350 BB Home Combo connectivity, 2 Mbps for 15 GB and 512 Kbps post period. Every thing was fine for the first 15 days. Now the speed has reduced to 600 Kbps since 1st, August. I have talked with the JTO, SDO, DGM (City) and even GM of Bhubaneswar to no avail. I have been putting complaints at 1500 since 1-8-2010. They routinely close the complaint every day WITHOUT SOLVING THE PROBLEM. Even talking to the GM's grievance cell at 1298 has not helped. Thinking of BSNL brings about a nauseating feeling in me.

The new plans look great. I am confused a bit right now after the launch of the new plans.

I am right now on the UL 1350 plan which provides me 2 mbps for 20 GB and then 512 kbps as per the plan. Now the UL 1400 is promising 4 mbps for 25 GB and then 256 kbps. I was very happy after seeing the UL 1400 plan yesterday but am mainly confused by the 256 kbps part after 25 GB. I have checked my last few months BSNL usage and I hardly cross 20 GB any month and sometimes I use even less than 10-12 GB. So, as per that condition 25 GB should be a safe limit. But at the same time, I was on 512 kbps plan then which meant that I will also use lesser bandwidth as the speed is low. Now if the plan becomes 4 mbps it is almost certain that I will receive at least 5-7 times more speed than it was at that time and that means that my usage might also go up without my notice. Though I do not download much but a file which would have taken half an hour to download at that time would take maybe a 3-6 minutes to download in a 4mbps plan and so I might not notice it. So, I might also consume at least 2-3 times the bandwidth due to the faster speed even without realizing it. And that means I might be crossing 25 GB easily every month. After that it is 256 kbps which really is very slow though 512 kbps is not very bad. So, I am confused whether I should change the 1650 plan to 1400 as it might turn out to be a huge blunder later.

What do you guys advice. Which is better in your opinion - UL 1350 or UL 1400

If u are not downloading much then u can go for Ul 1400 i.e 4Mbps upto 25Gb which Looks Great For Youtube Watchers, freequent movie downloaders.25Gb per month is great for people like you i.e download around 1Gb is wat u do then go for Ul 1400.Otherwise I recommend sticking with Ulf 1350.Which is the best Ul plan By Bsnl

I have also decided to remain with UL 1350 as of now. UL 1400 would be a short time greediness and might screw up later in the month. So, decided on sticking with the 1350 plan as of now.

I dont download too much but not too less too. It might be a big risk to go with the UL 1400 plan as I might accidentally cross the 25 GB limit and then repent later on.
