Thread: Bsnl broadband bill is 3215. Need Help!

Hello everyone,

I got my BSNL bill for this month and it says Rs. 3215!!. I had opted for UL 750
plan also with 20% discount for govt. employee. I had opted for modem wi fi modem on purchase which is 1600. But still i am not able to figure out how the bill could be Rs. 3215

They have charged me

Accessory Rentals 483.87
Miscellaneous Facility Charges 2680


I had taken a new landline and broadband connection and deposited Rs. 500 initially but there is no adjustments shown in bill.

Any help in figuring out how the amount will be appreciated.

Security deposit Rs 750/=
modem security deposit Rs 500 or Rs 1000/=
modem rent Rs 40 or Rs 80/=
Modem cost Rs 1800/= revised
taxes 10.3 %

one month's usage charges Rs 750/=etc

Please post a scanned copy of your bill after blackening personal details.
You need to pay one month rent as advance for UL 750. So the bill broadband itself is Rs.1,500 without discount. Adding another Rs. 1,600 will easily make up for Rs. 3,000. Plus your telephone rent.

As you have paid telephone deposit and modem cost in advance they can not figure in the bill what made it to 3000+ rupees. As said by meetdilip, if you can post a copy of the bill, it will be easier to give a suggestion.
