Thread: Frequent Disconnection

Hey guys, last night I turned on PC and went to sleep but in morning it was a very little download. When I checked my usage it showed that the line was reconnected more than 10 times. Anyone else faced similar problem???????

Mention your modem make and model.
Post your snr and line attenuation figures.
Do you hear any noise in the phone?
Do you have any parallel connections before the splitter?

My modem is Siemens C2110. Line is perfectly clear. I have also launched a complaint in BB Customer Care. Drivers are up to date, all cables are inserted properly.

short pause/s in download is normal.
Presume you were using a download manager.
You can try googledns and opendns 8.8.8.8 and 208.67.220.200

Use Jdownloader or Cryptload for sites like Rapidshare and check.

If line is clear, then it might a problem at dslam port.
What are snr margin figures?

I was downloading through uTorrent. The port is opened. I checked it. Tonight also the line is disconnected at 3.52 and not again connected.
