    Default Calculate the bill

    Hello,
I have BBG FN Combo 500 with a type 1 modem and I want to migrate to BB Home Combo ULF 1350 with a type 2 modem on rent. I would like to exchange my existing modem with the type 2 one. What would be my exact monthly bill (assume free call limit is not exceeded)?
    Thank you.

A type two modem costs Rs. 80 per month rent or Rs. 1,800 on out right purchase. Not sure you will get any discount for returning your old modem. Purely the discretion of BSNL people. You may also need to pay one month rent as advance.

    This might help

IF you had purchased outright type I modem no exchange possible.
    2.
IF you had taken on rental basis, 50% of rent paid will be deducted
towards modem cost Rs 1100/= . No exchange possible.

.If you want a new wifi type II
additional security deposit of Rs 500/=may be charged.
    Rent Rs 80/= per month.

    @essbebe
I had taken the type 1 modem on rent. But after few months, BSNL stopped taking rent. My BB connection is 2.5 years old.

They charge service tax. It is on bb rent or (bb rent + modem rent) ? And how much is the tax?

    Thanks for the links.

service tax is for BB usage rental each month.
Since you have purchased the type I modem no rental.
Any Security Deposit will be paid /adjusted when you disconnect
BB connection ( NO service taX)
SERVICE TAX 10% +.3% EDU CESS.

    2. Now BSNL will give Rs 5/= discount each month,
if you opt for Online billing and bill is not sent by post.
