    Hi friends. Can any one help me hw to distribute 20 bsnl broadband connections in a campus. Its a ADSL2+CPE/IAD modem. I should distribute 20 bsnl connections. 20 modems and for each modem seperate username and password are alloted and those are been configured into 20 ADSL2+CPE devices. How the distribution can be done?

    1.Are you getting 20 different Bsnl telephone numbers and Broadband connections ?
    2. also 20 adsl modems?
    3. What is the tariff plan selected ?
    Each user pays for his usage ?
    4.Or
    One single connection one adslmodem+4lan Port+ wifi router ?
    5. How many have laptops with wifi facility ?
    6.The connection/s are to different rooms? Distance involved ?

    @Naresh :
    Having a thread title saying Urgent help required does not give away a lot to those who read the title.. You would get a lot better response if you used an appropriate title.
    I dont know what your issue is here else I would have changed it to what it should be.

    If you have 20 connection and only 20 people using it then there is nothing to discuss about as every one gets their own connection. If the set up is going to be different then you need to elaborate to get a reply accordingly.

    Very strange how a campus come to this situation. Usually there can be 1-2 backup options in case of a failure in one connection fails, but definitely not from the same ISP. I am not able to understand why there are 20 different connections. Definitely there are better solutions. There are ways to balance the bandwidth between these 20 connections but I don't think it cannot be discussed in this forum.

    You must configure your modem in PPPoE aka "always on" mode. I don't have the exact modem at my disposal but having looked at a few BSNL modems, their screens are more or less similar. The following guides may help you:

    1. PPPoE Setup of UT300R2U – Manual Method
    2. UT300-R2U Ver 2.2 - Guide for setting up
