Change the PCR(Peak Cell Rate) to 8000 and try to connect. You will be able to connect. It does not matter whether g.dmt/adsl2+.

Did you download the PDF manual
    http://mtnlmumbai.in/triband/htm/utstar_wireless_II.pdf
and follow exactly what is given there ( except for vpi/vci 035 id pw for bsnl same as reported by you )
Check/change MSS MTU values also. as reported by you.
    [color="RED"TCP MTU Option : TCP MTU(0:default) 1500 bytes [/color]1452

    3-II) Type TCP MSS : 1360 Bytes
Type TCP MTU : 1492 Bytes
    Click on Save. etc

    8.8.8.8. and 208.67.220 220 as DNS

    2.Copy/Paste data here.
    Procedure
    START run type cmd
    New window
    type ipconfig /all

    3. Have you created a LAN network in your computer ?

    Congrats.
Now go to Management Menu and BACKUP
current settings of your modem to say C:/My Documents/ modem settings working.
    2.
When some one does some changes in your modem, you should carefully observe the steps and settings.
