How to Forward port in my Router ZTE ZXDSL 831AII

I get this when i try port Forwarding i think its not enabled. how to enable????
and with virtual server tooo

1.You should be in "Always On" PPP/PPPoE MODE. options.
(userID and PW entered in wan page of modem )
2.
Then in Advanced options look under NAT for virtual servers/port triggering/Dmz
3. Check ipconfig /all
and enter your IP address shown there. ( example 192.168.1.X)
4.
Check in Portforward.com for detailed instructions router wise and application wise. Select corresponding model showing same menu pages like yours.

Hi guys

I want some way to share a lots of stuff to my friends in other cities. As by emailing or through remote support is a very hectic process. So i read somewhere about ftp. One can create an ftp server and can share files over internet. As i have just a little bit knowledge only i cant get success to make a ftp server. Then what i found a software called hfs . I used this software only 1 time coz after that i got a problem of port. The software says " You are behind the router, the port not opend". Plz help me on this if any one know. Else i want to create my own ftp, if i can plz let me know the whole process,,, step by step
