I am getting this Speed since night awesome.. I dont Know what BSNL Guys Done wrong to make it happen !

Since Last Few Days Am facing some weird problem..

I am having bsnl broadband connection with netgear router.. the connection wire is 100 meters, from the pole to the splitter.. at the other end i`ve kept adsl splitter from which a connection goes to router & other to telephone, of which the wire is around 70 meters.

since last week everything was working fine. but then my telephone has stopped working.. i`ve tried connecting the phone direct (without adsl splitter) then to it`s not working. where else internet is working fine.. i`ve checked the continuity of the wire, it shows fine (with 17ohms resistance).. when i pick up the phone , it shows like the phone is picked up (no dial tone) & when i try to call it shows me phone is busy...

one more thing i`ve even checked by connecting the phone directly to the pole. then it`s working fine (getting dial tone). by that can figure out that the prob. is not with the bsnl .

i`ve checked everything.. but can`t figured out

Interchage the rj11 cables going to the modem and telephone.

i`ve already changed the rj-11 sockets & cables..

.Post SNR ATTN data of BB connection.

Mention why you need to use 70 meters RJ11 cable for both BB and telephone?

Reposition adsl splitter at the Telephone end.

use as usual 70 meters wire to your modem DIRECT>

What kind of Junction Box is provided by BSNL at customer's end ?

hey guys. the problem got resolved.. act the thing is the prob. is with one of the pair of wire..though it shows perfect continuity but still some prob with it..

used the other pair of wire. Now working fine...

& one thing.. what is the ideal wire distance between adsl splitter & router .
Right now am getting 43.0 db line attenaution.. is it fine?
