having some confusion abt what bill i will get next month..

earlier i had Home broadband 250 plan...which i changed to combo UL 625.
I appliad for change on 14 th of last month....

on 1st of this month,i logged into my portal at abt 10 am to know whether plan had changed or not...and it still showed 250..
after contacting bsnl office,they change the plan to combo 625 at abt 2 in the afternoon...by then i had used abt 2 mbs of my old plan....
this time on logging onto portal...i saw one record of 250 plan showing 2 mbs use...and in net traffic too 2mb use...though profile showed plan changed to 625...thus i have used abt 3 gbs so far this month...by dbt is how much bill i will rwecieve this month ???will i have to pay for the 250 plan i used too ???(i,e rs 250+625 +2 ) or only 625 +taxes +rs2(of 2mbs used ) or 3000 for 3gbs used so far ??

net traffic rite now is being shown 0.002 GB

i hope i am not in big trouble...becoz paying 3000 for using 3gbs will be a big problem..

Usage in Sept under Home 250 will be on Pro rata( daily) basis.
Say for 8 days 34MB will be charged x 8= 272 MB will be free. Any excess usage will be charged.
Rent approx Rs 66/=
From 9th Sept 625/ say approx Rs 462/=
total approx Rs 528/=
1 GB = 1024 MB 1MB= 1024KB .

To check how you downloaded 3gbs corrected as 3GB data
Post screen shot(jpg) of usage data from 1st to 9th Sept
as Annexure here.
On the top of usage data page
You get a summary Chargeable units less ( free NU)
What does it show ? From this deduct approx 272 MB.

i still cant get ur 528 rs logic


for everythin i used after 2pm on sep 1 it is printed under combo 625 plan...(i.e . whole 3gb) and net traffic for everything under it is shown as zero...

only the 2 mbs i used in the morning of sep 1 under 250 plan are shown with net traffic as 0.002 GB

so plz answer my simple doubt ..............will i have to pay the monthly rental amount of rs 250 for the 2 mbs i used too ?????????????

or just rs 625 whic his new combo fee + rs 2 of the data usage under earlier paln

Calculate on pro rata basis rent to be paid.

as i said earlier
it shows Sum Traffic Excluding Night Unlimited(GB) as 0.002 till date

No data. usages charges for this month. .002 GB for 1 day.

Rent will be apprx Rs (Rs 8 + Rs 604)= Rs 612/=. + taxes.
(250/30 x 1 )+ (625/30 x 29)
Presume in your usage web site [UL625 has been "provisioned" from 2nd Sept 2010.

Effective date not mentioned. Later daily usage shown as 0 from Sept2nd 2010.
I had assumed the change was on Sept 8th.

plan change was executed by bsnl at 2 pm on 1st september 2010....i hope that makes things clear now..


also u sure na that 3gbs i used wont be billed ??
