Thread: BSnl unlimited plan

hey guys,
I am using BSnl unlimited plan for nearly a year now. my modem ut300r2u type..but for the past 2 weeks my connection is not very good(i dont know much about internet connections ). my modem is getting ddisconnected for every 10 minutes or s.the DATA and LINK lights in modem goes off for a caplof minutes and comes back .its irritating when im downloading or buffering some videos ..please help guys...i called bsnl but no reply till now.

1. Check your splitter. Make sure that all connections come after the splitter.



2. Check your adapter. May be it is faulty.

3. Post your SNR and attenuation values.

I have my connection like the ph line is connected to LINE and from ADL its connected to my MODEM .(sorry i dont know much about computers) and my hpone is dead also.

Your SNR is a bit low. Get your line checked by the line man. Ask him to remove joints and non insulated parts and give good line condition.

its not working. still i am getting disconnected and my speed has gone down a lot ..please help ..

Dude, you are not the single victim of this.
BSNL is down since a week now.

^but for me its working fine i had issue just a couple of days ago and the guy said its a problem from Bangalore and after that till date its working fine

I m currently using BSNL WLL and recently shifted to a new flat.
BSNL WLL s good and cheap, but since its Wireless, the connection gets off on switchin of any electrical appliances.

I was thinking of taking the Reliance Combo 300 plan wich costs arnd Rs.499 and the speed is 300 kbps. Its reasonable.But to my dismay,the Reliance buggers told me since my buiding is a new one, they ll ve to get permission frm the flat association to draw their cables inside the building. So,they r tellin it mite take time and they r not sure whether it ll b possible. My buiding s a new one & I dunno wen the formation of an association ll take place and I want an internet connection@the earliest as I m gettin sick of my BSNL WLL connectivity problems.

So now the building has only Asianet Dataline cables wich leaves me no choice but to opt for Asianet Dataline.

I m lookin@a package that suits me - unlimited internet+downloads and anything below 500 bucks. I do heavy downloads via torrent. I was lookin at the Swift 449 plan wich gives me unlimited downloads and 256 kbps for 5GB and 128 kbps beyond 5GB.

I was wonderin if sum1 could pass me info regd Asianet package Swift 449....regd how the speed is and also regd the download speeds for kb torrent downloads (wit BSNL WLL, the download speed arnd 15-17 kb,goes upto 30 kb, but cums down soon.Also I m not gettin good speed at my new place)

I do understand dat payin Rs.449+tax ll giv me average speed,but I hop it ll not b dat slow.

Pls help me out wit info regd Asianet Swift 449!!!

for me I am a heavy downloader i download any movie thats available in HD which is 4-10 GB in size and it takes a lot of time for me to do that almost 2 days, cause i just download one file at any moment.
