Thread: Wrong Sessions in Night Unlimited

Hello Guys,

I'm using BSNL's 500C+ plan from 9 months and very happy with it.. Normally, I keep downloads scheduled in 2AM to 8Am which is the night unlimited time. I never needed to rebot modem because BSNL itself resets sessions at 2.00AM and 8.00AM every time since the day one of the Broadband installation.

But on 8-SEP-2010, the sessions were not reset and I have switched the modem at 10:20:59 PM and switched it off at 09:21:23 AM. Which has missed the resetting of sessions at 2AM and 8AM, So the downloaded data from 2AM to 8AM was showing in the billing side.

Unfortunately, the data downloaded on that night is 5.2 GB.

Please suggest me whom to contact and where he/she will be.

[Just for your information, I know how to connect to modem in BRIDGE MODE, and the uses with it. Please just avoid suggesting on it in your replies]

Comparing your free download on 12th Sept , you could claim approx 3 GB free data download. ( 6 hours period ) and pay for about 2.2 to 2.3 GB.

Take a print out , for discussion with A.O when bill is sent to you next month.

use schedulers to switch off MODEM at about 0155AM and 0755AM.

Accounts Officer(TR) can solve your problem in a matter of minutes.
he will print out a new bill (corrected version) and you can pay using that bill.
