Default Connecting 2 pcs with 2 modems....

    I have

    Both Desktop pcs
    Beetel 220bx adsl2 + Modem ( 1 lan + 1 usb)
    Beetel 110TC1 adsl2 + Router (1 lan)
Onboard lan on both desktop pcs
    2Lan cards extra
    Corssover Cable + Straight Cable

I want to connect both pcs via LAN (to share files) and internet connection on both pcs.

(Don't want : One pc must be ON to have internet on other)

1.Beetel 2220BXI has lan port and usb port.
2.You can connect both computers ( presume desktops) to same.
3.Confirm additional LAN card can be installed in the desktop.
    4. Confirm 110TC1 has only a single lan port.
    5.

Enable DHCP in modem . Range 192.168.1.3 to 192.168.1.10
192.168.1.2 reserved for USB port connection.

    copy/paste ipconfig /all

try the lan connection also. Keep it ON. When USB fails check connection ok here. Check Lease time is H24 ( in wan page)
    Or
    interchange the port connections.
Connect in USB mode and post ipconfig /all
In usb mode : Ipconfig /all what is the lease time shown ?
same as in other computer ?

Lan is working fine on both pcs. Problem arises when I connect 1 pc via LAN & other via USB.

    Now,connecting via usb.........................................

Lease time is same in both pcs...

Finally...obtain IP automatically working on both pcs.

Now..I want to share files between pcs....

    1) Win 7 64bit --onboard Lan - occupied --- No pic slot left for lan card + USB driver not compatible

    2) Win xp 32 bit-Onboad Lan + Lan card : Free

to use splitter between Main telephone line and use it into 2 routers simultaneously
    .
    Not Possible.
BB1 ADSL line ==>>> rj11 to modem ( direct or via ADSL splitter)
    BB2 adsl line====>> rj11 to modem No 2 ( do ):
Computer1BB1. use LAN port ( or wifi )
    BB2 USB port /lanport
    computer 2: same as above.
    .Speed will not add up.
The faster connection will be selected.
A single adsl modem/4lanport/wifi model either can be used for a single BB connection. to two or more computers.
