    Default UT300r2u dataone. Internet light not green. tried everything

    i visited a site where internet was not working for past 2 days.

    The LAN is working fine. everyone getting ip from the dataone modem, the problem is internet is not working and the internet light on the UT300r2u is not lighting up.

    what i tried was,

    tried to re-configure the modem. switched between pppoe and bridge mode but still dint worked.

    reset the modem and did fresh config still dint worked.

    to make the topology simple i by-passed the splitter, directly connected the phone line to modem and from modem to a single PC still the internet light dint lit, even after re-configuration.

    bsnl people said the line is perfect from there side, something is wrong from our side.

    last option left is i'll be trying a new modem at the site tomorrow. if still it doesnt work out well then dont know what else i can try

    any suggestion on what could possibly be wrong, what else could be tried?

    attaching a copy of diagnostic test. its a photo ripped from this site only but edited the top 2 options of 'test the connection to your ISP' section to the exact results shown when i ran it.

    the 'test ppp server connection' shows Fail when i ran the test
    is that correct? it showed Pass on the pic which i used

    Please help.

    try checking the VPI,VCI values.after resetting the modem,it returns to 0.so change VPI=0 and VCI=35
    can't help much other than that,don't have the same model as yours.
