Thread: BSNL broad band not working

we were using bsnl modem type 1 we hve changed to bsnl modem type 2 no AN 1020-21 we have connected one laptop with wndows 7 and one desk top also0 with windows 7 both are working fine with cable but the third one with windows xp shows local area network connection but is unable to connect with broad band shows error no 678.

In XP system are you using dialer mode ?

In modem Use PPP/PPPoE mode ( userID/PW entered in wan page)

Presumed enabled dhcp in modem and
4.
Obtain Ip address automatically in all systems TCP/IP properties.
5.
Check teracom link for settings.
6.
Copy/pasteXP system data ipconfig /all

1. Configure the modem in PPPoE.

2. Enable DHCP in the modem.

3. In the TCP/IP properties of the connection (in all 3 systems), set " Obtain IP address automatically ".
