Thread: Billing issues on moving to UL 750 from BB FN 500 plan

Hi guys

I have been using Dataone since 2007, therefore i still have an old plan BB FN 500 that gives a 2.5GB free usage limit and upto 2MBps of speed.

I am willing to switch to UL 750 for some reason.

I want to know how will i be billed if i convert to UL 750 in the mid of this month.?

Will i be charged for entire month or will the conversion take place on the 1st of next month.?

if you apply now,the plan can be changed in the middle of month.the BSNL guys will you call you up and confirm the change.but it has its downsides with billing issue.if everything goes right,you will be billed 750+ tax but if they mess up,you will be billed everything you download with the Rs 500 ,2 Mbps plan,and trust me,it will be huge,speaking from experience.of course you will be refunded,but not before countless times of visiting the higher officials.
so best option is,apply now but mention clearly in written and verbal that you want plan changed from the 1st of next month.

If your plan gets changed on 15 th, you monthly usage limit will be 2.5 /2 =1.25 GB. You need to pay half the rent for Home 500 if your usage is within 1.25 GB limit. For the next 15 days pay half the rent for UL 750. Hope it is clear now.
