Thread: Braodband Rural Unlimited ??

I changed my BSNL broadband plan fromm 500c(Night Unlimited) to 500c(Rural Unlimited) Plan. My usage went beyond 4gb. Now my download speed is not going above 30kbps. That means speed has reduced from 512kbps to 256kbps. But it must change when usage is beyond 6gb?

" 512 Kbps upto 6 GB & 256 Kbps beyond 6 GB "

Check with the Senior Divisional Engineer (SDE). You should be getting 512 kbps till it cross 6 GB.

I TRIED TO CHANGE MY PLAN FROM 500 COMBO (NIGHT 2 - 8) TO
BB Home Rural Combo UL 500 @.
BUT BSNL PPL TOLD ME THAT I AM NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THAT SCHEME CHANGE.
THEY TOLD ME THAT ONLY THE FIRST 30 PPL WHO TOOK BROADBAND IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE PLAN AND REFUND OF THE MONEY. (WHICH BSNL TOOK FOR MODEM AND INSTALLATION INITIALLY).
MY EXCHANGE COMES UNDER USOF RURAL PLAN. I TRIED TO CONVINCE THEM THAT I DONT WANT ANY REFUND, BUT JUST NEED A PLAN CHANGE.

GUYS I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHETHER ITS POSSIBLE TO CHANGE THE PLAN WITH OUT ANY REFUND? PLS POST YOUR FEED BACK

if you got usual Broadband connection, doubttful your exchange is under Rural USO.Plan.

i applied for plan change to rural unlimited plan. but bsnl customer care said that i am not eligible for the same, as i didnt purchase PC from bsnl.under rural plan

is that rite??

Didn't you ask the same question before ? Answer is no.You need not buy PC from BSNL to get this offer. But there is limited no of rural plan connections.
