    Smile Plan Change 750UL

    Hi folks,
I applied for a plan change from home-500 to Ul combo 1100 plan 3 months back but they have not implemented it yet citing software problems. Now i dont want the plan and want to shift to 750Ul plan with 512 kbps speed. As i'm tired of the babu tactics of bsnl employees. They say i have to cancel the previous order i placed for the 1100 scheme. Where am i suppose to cancel it nobody to guide properly even the selfcare site does not have a option to cancel.I wrote regarding my problems to the Gm etc each and every officer here at aurangabad. All gave lame excuses that they will get back to me and today its almost 3 months.
Should i shoot another plan change option on the selfcare site to override it what say?.And how is the speed of 750ul plan . I download a lots of movies from rapidshare and use torrents mostly. So i should atleast get a decent speed. The Home-500 plan i use sometimes touches 1.3mbps to 2mbps but drawback is that i have to keep awake from 2-8 in morning happy hours..
Please help me out seniors whome should i contact and should i opt for 750ul scheme or stick to home-500 plan?

Give two applications in the office where you gave plan change application. One to cancel intended plan and other to change to UL 750.

I am using UL 750. I get 60 - 70 KBps on good servers like Cnet and Microsoft. Expect an average of 55 KBps.

Rapidshare gives around 40 KBps and hence take around 6 hours to complete. But torrents give better speed and takes around 4 hours.

If you are getting good speed ie, better than 64 KBps, stick with Home 500 plan. Only difficulty is that you need to use a scheduler and schedule the downloads at night.

Selfcare portal needs registration using your consumer no. . I am using data.bsnl and hence unable to comment.

UL 750 is one of the finest plans available now. Lots of people are shifting to it.

Switched to UL 750 with 512 Kbps speed. Its the best plans available when compared to other ISP's. I'have constant speeds. No more hassles like I had with 500C plan.

I m really fed up the 500 home plan as the bandwidth is not stable and my downloads are suffering.I want to switch to 750ul plan hope i will get a stable 512kbps speed. Its useless to tell bsnl guys to solve your problem it gets worse over that they are not properly trained to handle bb complaints. Its a shame i'm 100mtrs away from the exchange and i get 25-30kbps for 500home plan which claims 256-2mbps. Previously i was happy with the service but now since last month my troubles have begun.
What can be the reason for the fluctuating speed i'm suffering since last month. I used to get nice speeds 250kbps suddenly in august it was a staggering 21-25kbps then suddenly on 1st sep to 15sep it was back to normal fast speed then dropped to 30kbps till date.I even changed port to multiplay in exchange and done everything possible.
I hope the plan change will get me a stable speed.
