    1. Try to open those sites in Opera Turbo and check.

    2. Use the following DNS values

    208.67.222.222, 8.8.8.8

    3. Use a proxy and check.

    4. Clear browser cache and try.

    5. Use another browser and check.

The information that you provided regarding beetel. Ho do i do that?
The link was given to compare beetel `110TCI and wa 3002_g1.
    menu pages.

    2. You have decided, that ONLY a FW update will enable
you to get the sites not accessible now.
Other users of both these modem/s, have not reported similar problem that some web sites are not opening.

I cannot locate any later Firmware for Wa 3002-g1.
    Para two:
    3.
Test your system with a different modem and give feedback.
    4.
try Pronet FW IF AVAILABLE. AT YOUR OWN RISK

    Thumbs up

In this case the issue is with DNS server (as some web sites are not opening). This issue is nothing to do with firmware upgradation of the CPE.

If the CPE is configured in PPPoE mode, then BSNL’s PPPoE server will provide the working DNS address to your modem. In this case
    - Don’t use static DNS address in your PC.
    - Enable DHCP in your PC so that the PC will get CPE address as DNS address and intern CPE will use the latest working DNS received from BSNL’s PPPoE server for URL resolution.

If the CPE is configured in bridge mode and you dial (PPPoE client) from the PC, then PC will get the latest DNS address for PPPoE interface directly from Server.

Hope this will solve your issue!!!!

    Hi Ryan/Essbebe
You guys have got a real good discussion going there. My problem is also the same with the same router. Utstarcom wa3002-g1; I am unable to open cricinfo.com at times.
The second problem I have is that this router connects to the internet only when a static WAN IP is set in the properties in my Windows 7 machine, one of my friends suggested that its got to do with the "N wireless chip" not "shaking hands" with the router.
A firmware upgrade does seem like a real good solution. Any inputs on how to do that. A similar discussion in our site said it comes with its issues and all. I am total non-techie can you guys help please.
    Basically 2 problems
    1. some sites don't open up.
2.In my windows 7 machine with an N wireless chip only connects to the internet with a static IP.

    Cheers
    Ravi

    1. Change DNS values in the TCP/IP properties of your connection.

    2. Opera Turbo is a special feature in Opera Browser. Install Opera browser and check the left hand bottom corner for the option.

    3. Any proxy like this

You have not tried google dns 8.8.8.8 nd 8.8.4.4 as suggested by @meetdilip.

    Change in Network/lan/wlan/properties/network settings TCP/IP
    properties.
    2.
change Also in modem settings DNS menu.
    3(a)
    .Copy/Paste data here/ipconfig /all
( only LAN WLAN No tunnel data )
You can delete all Tunnel data. as scrolling the page. is bothersome..
    (b) or post as Annexure as *.doc
    http://www.indiabroadband.net/attach...m-ipconfig.doc
    4.
    .
The MSS MTU values are as per the pdf
If you had given the values, will save rechecking/downloading MTNL guide., and other members could have suggested something else.
    5.
i dint get your point about feedback in tiny url
Check here and confirm whether cricinfo web site opens.
    http://preview.tinyurl.com/dpdc
    6
an N wireless chip only connects to the internet with a static IP.
In Network settings age disable IPV6 ( to avoid tunnel data)
    TCP/IP obtain IP address automatically.
    DNS as above in (1)
    Apply SAVE>

    Feedback item wise.

After 22 posts you could have given details of "same problem"
    copy/paste ipconfig /all data here.
Find out MSS MTU values used in modem.

@ravimotrapu has not responded for 2 weeks.

    1. Try Opera Turbo. Usually works in such cases.

    2. Check whether it is working using a proxy.
