Hi..
I have,
8mbps 2799 Plan active.
Terracom Type 2 Modem [wifi switched off.]
Dlink DIR-615 Connected to the modem for wifi and 3 PCs ethernet port connecting.
---------------------------------------
Now problem is, when I switch on the iMac or a PC for the first time, it always says,
"Some other PC is using 192.168.1.52 already, contact your network admin".
That means, I guess, the router is trying to assign the IPs to the systems, but how can it assign the same one ?
I never heard anything like this. I know, the router once given a range for DHCP, will assign unique to each device.
My devices are not on RESERVED IP list on the router at all.
I have just keep the DHCP server on and IP range as 192.168.1.50 to 192.168.1.70
Now, I dont know, whats the problem.
Then after f**king with some options, I get through the error msg and internet comes to the iMac.
But now, when I switch on the PCs, they dont even identify the internet, al though they are drectly connected to the router ports.
Damn, I dont know, whats going wrong. ..
