Thread: open utorrent port for bsnl zte xdsl 531B

HI,
im finding it difficult to open ports for utorrent in this modem. i tried port forward.com but it doesnt work. cud someone giv me instructions to open my port. i do not hav a static ip btw

1. Try this

2. Did you tried the exact guide at portforward.com ? Or you were not able to find the guide ?

3. Switch to bridge mode. All ports are open by default.

As mentioned above try in "Bridged" mode (
In wan page delect PPP/PPPoE box ) Save reboot.
Use external dialer ( enter userId/PW) to connect.
confirm Uttorent is opening Ok.

If not
check Ipconfig /all
enter in DMZ zone Your Ip shown ( 192.168.1 X)
still problem:
6. revert to PPP/PPPoE mode
same as (5 above) enter in Advanced options Nat Port triggering.

i tried the guide in protforward.com ... but the modem interface shown there is very different compared to mine but its the same modem

Try this little piece of software its for free ,it will automatically guide to port forwarding.
Simple Port Forwarding 3.0.9.
