    Thumbs up Dataone Plan Change

I had requested to change my plan from Home 250 to Unlimited 750 yesterday(26 Sept) in my portal (not to bsnl authorities).... Now it shows it has been provisioned and speeds are now around 55 kB/s. So since from today, I am getting 750 plan speeds and current plan in portal is being shown as Unlimited 750, so will any further usage from today be counted towards my September bill or I can madly download from now on since it should be unlimited now ?

Did you checked under postpaid orders ? What was the effective date ? This may help

    I have attached the screenshot
Yesterday it showed Order Created, now it shows Order Completed and speeds dropped down from 2Mbps to 512kbps. SO technically it has changed, even in their database, but i am worried about the bill, if I start downloading now and they charge according to 250 plan(for any further usage after plan change), I will be doomed. So should I wait till 1 October?

Looks like the plan has really changed. What does " chargeable units excluding night unlimited " show ? Do carry on if it is zero.

thanks for your quick replies dilip, I just checked, "Chargeable Units(MB) = 0"

Can I change my plan as many times I want and will I be charged according to the number of days I used that particular plan?

    Always welcome

You can change plans at your will. If you plan changed on 15 th, for the first 15 days, it is according to old plan and next 15 days according to new plan. If your 1st plan has 1 GB limit, you should confine your usage till 0.5 GB. Otherwise you will be charged extra.

Confirm it with your JTO in the exchange before downloading madly. Remember the plan change is done through system and it can take some time even a day or so,but your order says completed. Its completed at the officers end and to take effect may take some time. So patience or do as i said call up your JTO. Even i changed my plan yesterday as a walk-in customer and in minutes i changed my plan from home-500 to homecombo-600 and my order was generated in no time. By evening i got blistering speeds upto 2mbps while before my system was crawling 30kbps. When i checked my selfcare site it shows home-500 plan, but speed made a difference until and unless it shows your desired changed plan on selfcare i think its advisable to wait for some time.
